White Mortgages Ltd is a thriving mortgage & protection brokerage in Lincoln. Since its foundation in 2011, White Mortgages has supported thousands of people in their property journey.


Originally based in the historic Bailgate area of Lincoln, we have now moved to a larger office, just south of the City centre, and are now looking to recruit an experienced mortgage & protection adviser to take us through the next stage of our growth.


We are seeking fully qualified CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified Mortgage & Protection advisers, with the experience, drive & determination to provide the exceptional client experience that White Mortgages Ltd is known for.


Your new role with us:

The Mortgage & Protection adviser role is a fast-paced, rewarding position providing variety and the chance to develop your skills further. Full training in our procedures will be provided to the successful candidate, so an ability to pick up new skills quickly is essential.


You will be providing a high-quality service including:

  • In-depth Fact-Finding conversations with clients

  • Utilising Twenty 7 Tec to source mortgage products

  • Utilising Assureweb to source protection products

  • Providing a high-touch service for clients as they move through the purchase process


Based within our new Office (free parking on site), normal office hours are 08:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday, although there is some flexibility over working hours, with no weekend work required & 28 days paid annual leave.

We have a relaxed and friendly working environment, where everyone is part of the bigger team and all strive to help our clients as much as we possibly can. Full administrative support is provided by our team to the adviser, allowing you to concentrate upon your advisory role.


Essential Criteria:

  • CeMap or equivalent qualification

  • At least 1 year’s relevant sales experience within the mortgage & protection industry

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Excellent organisational & problem-solving skills

  • Thorough & keen attention to detail

  • Proven ability to sell products & services to a variety of clients, whilst keeping a full compliance record

  • Excellent verbal & written skills

  • High expectations of themselves & the service they provide

  • Self driven and with the ability to work without the need to be wearing a suit and tie!


Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of whole of market mortgage products

  • Experience of working with Mortgage Keeper software

  • Experience of working with Twenty7Tec software

  • Experience of working with Assureweb software


What we offer:

  • A permanent full time employed position.

  • A competitive basic salary between £20,000 & £30,000 (dependent upon proven experience and sales ability)

  • Uncapped earnings potential, through an attractive commission package, with realistic OTE of £50,000 - £60,000, or even higher.

  • 28 days holiday per year

  • Full administrative support so that you are able to focus solely on your advisory role.
